West Bladen's Kallie Bass qualified for Girls State Competition with West Bladen on Thursday. The state match will be held on February 21st in Aberdeen, NC at 9am.
"At first I just joined for fun, not knowing how serious bowling actually is." said Kallie. "There we 27 girls competing and 8 girls were chosen."
This was the first ever bowling team for West Bladen High School.
"She's a lefty. And honestly, I think she has bowled maybe less than 10 times before joining the school team this year." said Kallie's mother, Krissy Pait.
I'd say that is awesome growth. Congrats, Kallie!
