East Bladen Baseball Continues to Compete, Looks Ahead to Friday Rematch with South Columbus

East Bladen Varsity Baseball Team

Tabor City, NC - The East Bladen Varsity Eagles Baseball faced a tough challenge on the road Tuesday night, falling to South Columbus 19-2.


The Stallions took an early lead with an 11-run first inning, also having a 7-run third inning, but the Eagles continued to battle throughout the game.


Colton Daly, Andrew Musslewhite, Isaiah Lee, and Tyler Eason each recorded a hit for East Bladen against a strong South Columbus pitching staff.


Musslewhite led the team with an RBI, while Davion Lewis also crossed the plate for the Eagles.


Despite the outcome, East Bladen is focused on learning and improving as the season continues.


The Eagles will have a chance to continue to compete and bounce back on Friday when they host South Columbus in a rematch.
