Elizabethtown, NC – Tar Heel rode an 18-4 3rd quarter blitz to a 46-19 lead and eventual 48-24 Waccamaw Middle School Conference boys basketball victory over Elizabethtown.

Guard Levi Velasco-Gomez pumped in 9 of his game-high 13 points for the Panthers in the 1st half. Teammate C. J. Lewis popped in 3 baskets in each half to finish with 12 points. Dumani Grimes netted 5 points, and Jarvis McMillian added 4 points for the winners.

Prince McKoy led the Cougars with 8 points, and John High followed with 6 points. Damian Maynor scored 5 points.
