Middle School Boys Basketball: Bladenboro 29, East Columbus 25.

Lake Waccamaw, NC – Jace Lesane and Gaston Russ combined for 17 points to lead Bladenboro to a 29-25 Waccamaw Middle School Conference basketball victory over East Columbus Wednesday evening.

Russ fired in 9 points on the night, scoring 5 in the first half as the Bulldogs took a 18-12 Halftime lead. Lesane was right behind him with 8 points, with Keithan Russ scoring 5 points. Malcolm Melvin and Brooks Carroll added in 4 points and 3 points respectively.

K. Spaulding led the Gators with 7 points.

Coach Joe Gore’s Bulldogs brought their record to 2-1 and will travel to West Columbus on Tuesday, February 11th.
