East Bladen Golf Finishes Third in Waccamaw Conference Match at Vineyard Golf

White Lake, NC – The East Bladen Eagles put together a strong performance Monday evening at Vineyard Golf, securing a third-place finish in their Waccamaw conference match overall, but wins 1A.
The Eagles posted a team score of 385, just four strokes behind second-place Whiteville (381). South Columbus claimed the top spot with a 353.
Senior Connor Smith led the way for East Bladen, shooting a season-best 88.
Gabriel Wright, a sophomore, turned in a solid round with a 97, followed closely by fellow sophomore Henry Simmons, who carded a 99.
Freshman Dayton Wilson Jr. posting a 101, while senior Jacob Smith followed just behind Wilson Jr. with a 109.
The Eagles continue to make strides this season, improving with each outing.
Next up, the Eagles will look to build on their momentum in their upcoming match on Monday, March 24th.
